Trace Brewing
Project Description:
Trace Brewing is a craft brewery in Pittsburgh’s Bloomfield neighborhood. The brewery and beer garden were designed as cohesive indoor-outdoor spaces with a material palette inspired by the urban fabric of Pittsburgh. Yellow bricks, rough concrete steps, and functional CMU block facades blend the historic interior of Trace Brewing with the new beer garden and the custom Coolship room. Spaces were designed to maximize the flexibility for both day-to-day use and large group events. The beer garden’s concrete steps have become a stage for a wide range of uses including dance parties, photo shoots, weddings, and life-size flower arrangements.
